Version 4.27.101 marks the official release of our newest feature, the calculation of hydrostatics in waves. Another major improvement is the brand new automatic update routine. The old update routine failed to download or install new updates properly when running under Windows XP or in Windows 7/Vista with the user account control (UAC) enabled. With this new update these problems are fixed and all users are strongly recommended to upgrade to this new version.

The calculation of hydrostatics in waves is integrated into the professional hull modeler as well as various extensions. It can be used to calculate the influence of waves on the hydrostatics, stability, bending moment and shear force. Another application which can be found integrated in the inclined hydrostatics extension, is the visualization of a ship moving through  a wave of length and height specified by the user. The animation can be saved directly to an animated gif file. The examples too the right show some animation files created with DELFTship™.
